What Türkiye may ask for
Not every traveller is asked for all of these. A valid passport is checked every time; the rest is a spot check at the border, and some items belong to a visa application rather than the crossing itself.
- Passport valid 6+ months beyond entry with 1 blank page
- Recent passport photo meeting ICAO specifications
- Confirmed hotel bookings or accommodation address
- Return or onward flight ticket within visa validity
- Proof of sufficient funds ($50-100 per day recommended)
- Travel insurance covering medical emergencies recommended
Entry requirements for Yemeni travellers
These rules apply specifically to Yemeni passport holders entering Türkiye as tourists. Each one links to the official source where available.
- May be required
Electronic transit visa may be required
International travelers don’t need a visa to transit through Türkiye as long as they stay within the airport’s international departure area, their next destination is outside Türkiye, and their final destination is not Mexico, Panama, Colombia, or Venezuela. Travelers whose final destination is Mexico, Panama, Colombia, or Venezuela require an eVisa to transit through Türkiye. Travelers can apply for an eVisa online. Different requirements also apply to travelers transiting through Antalya (AYT), Milas-Bodrum (BJV) and Dalaman (DLM). There are no transit facilities at these airports, so travelers transiting through these airports need to get a visa before entering Türkiye. Visit the government site to check the permitted length of stay and other entry requirements.
