Everything about the Kenya ETA — conditions, what the authorities check and how long it lasts.

How it works
- 1
Answer the questions
One form, written in plain language. We ask only what Kenya actually requires for a Yemeni passport.
- 2
We check and submit
Your application is reviewed for the mistakes that cause rejections before it goes to the authorities.
- 3
Approval by email
Approval usually arrives within 2 days. It comes by email, with everything you need to show on arrival.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Yemeni citizens need a visa for Kenya, and the Kenya ETA can be applied for online.
$40.00. There is no government fee — that is $40.00 for our service.
From 2 days. Governments do not guarantee processing times, so apply as early as you can.
Up to 90 days.
You must enter Kenya within 90 days of approval. That window is separate from how long you may stay.
Single entry — once you leave Kenya it is used up, even if time is left on it.
Approval takes from 2 days, and you then have 90 days to enter Kenya. Applying a few weeks before departure leaves room for both.

What Kenya may ask for
Not every traveller is asked for all of these. A valid passport is checked every time; the rest is a spot check at the border, and some items belong to a visa application rather than the crossing itself.
- Passport valid 6+ months with 1 blank page
- Yellow fever vaccination certificate required
- Passport photo 35x45mm, white background
- Hotel or safari lodge booking confirmation
- Return flight or onward travel itinerary
- Proof of sufficient funds for your stay

Electronic travel authorization may be required for transit
Travelers transiting through Kenya without leaving the airport don't need to apply for a travel authorization. Travelers entering Kenya must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Travelers can submit the eTA application online. Once the application is approved, travelers receive their eTA confirmation electronically. The Kenya eTA is valid for a single entry, except for in cases where travelers are visiting one of the following EAC Partner States: Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, or Uganda immediately after visiting Kenya, do not visit any other countries before returning to Kenya, and their Kenyan eTA is still valid upon return.
- The eTA requirement doesn’t apply to: -Travelers with an East African Tourist Visa issued by Uganda or Rwanda who travel directly between Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya without visiting any other country.
