What Mexico may ask for
Not every traveller is asked for all of these. A valid passport is checked every time; the rest is a spot check at the border, and some items belong to a visa application rather than the crossing itself.

- Round-trip flight itinerary or travel confirmation

These rules apply specifically to Yemeni passport holders entering Mexico as tourists. Each one links to the official source where available.

Transit visa
Travelers need a visa to transit through Mexico. Travelers must obtain a paper or embassy visa from an embassy, consulate, or visa center before traveling. This applies whether travelers remain in or leave the airport transit area. Travelers who arrive without the required visa won't be permitted to transit through Mexico.
- This visa requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers: -Travelers with a valid multiple-entry visa from Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, or a Schengen Member State, valid for the transit period and up to 180 days. A United States visa marked with extended validity doesn't qualify, and a United Kingdom visa must be a Standard Visitor Visa. -Travelers with a valid permanent residence permit from Canada, Chile, Colombia, the United Kingdom, or a Schengen Member State. -Travelers with a permanent residence or re-entry permit from Japan. -Travelers with a Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551) from the United States, or a valid I-551 passport stamp.
