What Is the Papua New Guinea Health Declaration Form?
The Papua New Guinea Health Declaration Form (often submitted via the PNG Digital Arrival Card — PNGDAC) is a mandatory online arrival and health declaration introduced by the Papua New Guinea Immigration & Citizenship Services Authority (ICA) to replace paper passenger cards. Launched on 1 October 2025, the PNGDAC collects personal, travel, customs and health information before you land so immigration and public health authorities can process arrivals more efficiently.
Apply at the official PNGDAC portal (pngdac.ica.gov.pg) or use DoVisa for guided completion. On approval you receive an email confirmation and a printable/phone-friendly confirmation — the PNGDAC system issues a reference barcode/QR that airlines and immigration officers may check during departure check-in and on arrival. The form is free on the government portal but using DoVisa provides extra checks, reminders and assistance.
The PNGDAC is a pre-arrival health & arrival declaration — it is not a visa. You still need the appropriate visa or entry permit where required; the PNGDAC simply streamlines border and health screening. Key recent change: paper incoming passenger cards were phased out after October 2025 and self-service kiosks are retained only briefly during transition.
