Approval usually arrives within 4 days. It comes by email, with everything you need to show on arrival.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Beninese citizens need a visa for Vietnam, and the Vietnam eVisa can be applied for online.

$66.00. That is $26.00 in government fees and $40.00 for our service.

From 4 days. Governments do not guarantee processing times, so apply as early as you can.

Up to 90 days.

You must enter Vietnam within 90 days of approval. That window is separate from how long you may stay.

Single entry — once you leave Vietnam it is used up, even if time is left on it.

Approval takes from 4 days, and you then have 90 days to enter Vietnam. Applying a few weeks before departure leaves room for both.

What Vietnam may ask for

Not every traveller is asked for all of these. A valid passport is checked every time; the rest is a spot check at the border, and some items belong to a visa application rather than the crossing itself.

  • Passport valid 6+ months with 2 blank pages
  • Passport photo 4x6cm with white background
  • Confirmed return or onward flight ticket
  • Hotel booking or accommodation proof
  • Proof of sufficient funds for your stay
  • Completed visa application form

Mandatory Digital Arrival Card for Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Cam Ranh, or Phu Quoc

Travelers must complete a digital arrival card online before arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), Da Nang International Airport (DAD), Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR), or Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC) in Vietnam. The form can be completed within 3 days of arrival. Once the form is submitted, the system generates a QR code that travelers can present to immigration officers upon arrival. Travelers who don't complete the form before arrival may experience longer processing times at immigration. Currently, this requirement only applies to arrivals at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Noi Bai International Airport, Da Nang International Airport, Cam Ranh International Airport, and Phu Quoc International Airport.

    • This requirement doesn't apply to the following travelers: -Travelers arriving at other ports of entry; -Vietnamese citizens traveling on a Vietnamese passport; -Travelers transiting Vietnam without clearing immigration.

Travelers should check with their airline for pet transport requirements before traveling, as policies differ. Pets traveling into Vietnam must meet entry requirements set by the Vietnamese authorities. Travelers may bring no more than two pets for the purpose of ornamental keeping, domestic activities, or travel without registering for quarantine with the Department of Veterinary Medicine. Pets must have a valid quarantine certificate issued by the competent veterinary authority of the country of origin.
