Mandatory registration upon arrival in Uzbekistan
All travelers visiting Uzbekistan for more than 3 days must register with the local Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs within 72 hours of arrival and maintain valid registration throughout their stay. Travelers staying in hotels or dormitories are registered automatically, while those in private or non-hotel accommodations must register themselves online with the close participation of the host landlord or with the local Administration for Migration and Citizenship. Failure to complete the required registration may result in fines or penalties.
- This registration requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers: -Travelers staying in Uzbekistan for up to 3 days are not required to register: -Travelers who are Uzbekistan citizens and residents.
