    Travelers need a visa to transit through Jordan. A Jordan eVisa is the fastest way to obtain a transit visa. Travelers can apply online. Once approved, travelers receive their eVisa confirmation electronically. Travelers must have proof of onward travel.

    • The visa requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers: - Travelers holding a valid Schengen visa or a valid United States visa for at least 6 months may also obtain a visa on arrival without prior approval; - Travelers holding a valid residence permit for at least 6 months issued by the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) country (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, or the United Arab Emirates), a European Union country may obtain a visa on arrival without prior approval. Travelers arriving by air must also hold a return ticket.
