Entry requirements for Czech travellers

These rules apply specifically to Czech passport holders entering Jersey as tourists. Each one links to the official source where available.

    Travelers require a passport valid for the duration of stay in Jersey

    Travelers need a valid passport to enter Jersey. The traveler's passport must remain valid throughout the traveler's stay in Jersey

    • Travelers can use an EU, EEA, or Swiss national ID card to enter the UK if: -They have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, or Jersey, Guernsey, or the Isle of Man's settlement schemes; -They have an EU Settlement Scheme family permit, or the equivalent from Jersey, Guernsey, or the Isle of Man; -They have a frontier worker permit; -They are an S2 Healthcare Visitor; -They are an EU, EEA, or Swiss national aged 18 or under traveling as part of a French school group using a France-UK school trip travel information form. Travelers who hold British citizenship in addition to another nationality cannot apply for an ETA and must travel to the UK with a valid British passport, Irish passport, or any other valid passport containing a certificate of entitlement. Under temporary guidance, an expired British passport issued in 1989 or later, accompanied by a valid ETA-eligible passport with matching personal details, may also be accepted at carrier discretion. Travelers intending to travel on an expired British passport should confirm acceptance with their carrier before travel.

    Electronic travel authorization may be required for Transit

    Travelers transiting through Jersey who will not pass through border control (‘airside’ transit) will not require an ETA. Travelers who pass through border control will require an ETA to transit through the Jersey. Travelers can submit an ETA application online. Once the application is approved, travelers will receive their ETA confirmation electronically. Travelers visiting Jersey for more than six months, for example to live, work or study in Jersey, should check the source for more details. For travelers who are existing visa holders who live in Jersey and use a physical immigration document to prove their rights, Jersey is moving from physical immigration documents to eVisas. Travelers with existing visas should take action now to create a Jersey Visas and Immigration account to access their eVisa. An eTA is electronically linked to a passport and valid for up to 2 years for multiple entries. If travelers receive a new passport, they must apply for a new eTA. Different requirements may apply to visitors traveling directly to Jersey who do not first pass through the immigration control in the United Kingdom.

    • The ETA requirement doesn't apply to: -Travelers with a valid visa; -Travelers with permission to live, work, or study in the United Kingdom (including settled or pre-settled status or right of abode); -Travelers with valid British overseas territories citizen passports; -Travelers with valid British National (Overseas) passports; -Travelers who live in Ireland traveling from Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, or the Isle of Man; -Minors traveling on the France-UK school trip travel scheme; -Travelers transiting through the United Kingdom via Manchester Airport (MAN) or Heathrow Airport (LHR) who will not pass through border control ('airside' transit); -Travelers who are dual citizens with British or Irish citizenship. Dual citizens must prove their permission to travel using a British passport, Irish passport, or other passport containing a certificate of entitlement to prove they have right of abode in the UK. Under temporary guidance, an expired British passport issued in 1989 or later, accompanied by a valid ETA-eligible passport with matching personal details, may also be accepted at carrier discretion. Travelers intending to travel on an expired British passport should confirm acceptance with their carrier before travel.
