- Travelers transiting through Dublin Airport should be aware of the following: -Travelers do not need an entry visa if both their arrival flight and onward connecting flight are in Terminal 2 of Dublin Airport and the connection takes place on the same day between 04:00 and 20:00. In this situation, travelers can remain airside if they do not pass through border control. -In all other situations, travelers must pass through border control and must hold a valid entry visa. -Situations that require passing through border control include changing between terminals, collecting and re-checking checked baggage, or making an overnight connection.
