    Mandatory tourism tax for travelers visiting Bali

    Travelers visiting the province of Bali must pay an international tourist tax of IDR 150,000.00 (USD 10.00). This requirement does not apply to travelers visiting other regions in Indonesia. The payment can be made online before arrival or at the payment counter available at a port of entry in Bali. Travelers will receive proof of payment with a QR Code sent via email. This requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers: -Indonesian nationals; -Holders of diplomatic and official visas; -Crew members on transportation vehicles; -Holder of Temporary Stay Permit Card (KITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit Card (КІТАР); -Holders of Family unification visas; -Holders of Student visas; Travelers with Golden visas and other visa holders must apply for an exemption through the Love Bali system at least 5 days before arriving in Bali.     Travelers need a valid passport to enter Indonesia. The traveler's passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after the traveler arrives in Indonesia. The passport must have at least 2 blank pages. The passport must also be undamaged, as a damaged passport may be refused for entry, even if it is still valid.
