The Palau Entry Form is Palau's mandatory digital arrival declaration, submitted through the official government portal at palautravel.pw. Introduced on 1 June 2023, it replaced Palau's paper arrival process and merges three previously separate documents — the immigration entry form, the Ministry of Health declaration and the customs and biosecurity declaration — into one submission. Everyone arriving in Palau needs it, with no nationality exemptions, and it produces a QR code delivered by email.

This is the requirement that catches most travellers out: unlike an eVisa or ETA, you cannot file the Palau Entry Form weeks ahead, and submissions made outside the window are rejected by the portal. No — and this is important. The Pristine Paradise Environmental Fee (PPEF) of USD 100 has been in force since 1 January 2018. Palau's public notice states that the ticketing airline is responsible for collecting it and that it is included in the price of every international airline ticket into the Republic of Palau. You pay it when you buy your flight — not on the entry form and not on arrival. DoVisa never charges the PPEF; our fee is a service fee only. Palauan passport holders, diplomatic personnel, crew on official duty and transit passengers may be eligible for a refund via the airline.

It is a physical, on-arrival step that no service — including DoVisa — can complete for you online. The pledge is addressed to the children of Palau and commits you to travel lightly; breaches of Palau's environmental laws carry substantial penalties. Your Entry Form and the Pledge are two separate things, and you need both.

Yes. Palau's official guidance is that only one form is required per family or single traveller — a genuinely unusual concession, since most arrival declarations require one submission per person. A couple travelling with two children files a single Palau Entry Form covering all four, and one QR code is issued. Because everyone rides on the same submission, every passport detail must be entered exactly as printed, and all responses must be given in English.

No, the Palau Entry Form is a pre-arrival declaration, not an entry permit. Palau grants most nationalities a visa on arrival, and citizens of the United States, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Marshall Islands enter visa-free. However, under Executive Order No. 499 (effective 30 March 2026) nationals of Bangladesh, Cambodia, Cameroon, Ghana, Haiti, Iran, Myanmar, Nigeria, North Korea, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Sri Lanka and Vanuatu must hold a visa issued before travel or written pre-clearance from the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection; airlines cannot board them otherwise. DoVisa does not sell that pre-clearance — applications go directly to BCBP at least five days before travel. The Entry Form is required in addition, whatever your visa route.
