    Travelers under 16 entering Zambia without a parent or guardian may obtain special clearance from the Director General of Immigration. A parent or guardian may submit a written request to the Director General of Immigration for authorization for the minor to travel to Zambia. Once the necessary authority has been granted, the immigration department will facilitate the child's travel arrangements and entry requirements. Travelers staying in Zambia for longer than 90 days may include a minor in their visa application. Travelers under 16 cannot apply for a visa on their own; the application must be submitted by their parents or legal guardians.
