Not every traveller is asked for all of these. A valid passport is checked every time; the rest is a spot check at the border, and some items belong to a visa application rather than the crossing itself.

Travelers must complete a Digital Arrival Card online before departure to Thailand. Travelers must complete the Digital Arrival Card online a maximum of 3 days before arrival in Thailand.

Travelers require a passport valid for at least 6 months from the time of entry
Travelers need a valid passport to enter Thailand. The traveler's passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after the traveler arrives in Thailand.

Quarantine required for travelers recently in DRC or Uganda
Travelers who have been in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or Uganda within the 21 days before arrival and do not have symptoms must undergo mandatory quarantine for at least 21 days at a government-designated facility upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Travelers showing symptoms will be isolated at a hospital for further assessment. The measure is imposed as a precaution against Ebola virus disease and takes effect on May 27, 2026. Non-compliance may result in fines of up to approximately USD 613. Leaving a quarantine facility without permission may lead to additional penalties, including fines of up to approximately USD 3,063. This requirement applies to all travelers, including Thai citizens, Thai permanent residents, and foreign nationals.

Recommended vaccinations for Thailand
Travelers should consider: -Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines; -Typhoid vaccine for visits to smaller cities or rural areas; -Routine vaccines including Measles; -Japanese Encephalitis vaccine for extended stays or rural activities (not recommended for short-term travel to urban areas or travel to areas with no clear Japanese Encephalitis season).
