    Travelers must, if required by officials on arrival, specify their purpose to enter Spain. The officials responsible for entry control may require the presentation of documents including proof of accommodation in Spain. Travelers visiting Spain for tourism or personal purposes must provide proof of accommodation, either issued by the lodging establishment, a letter of invitation from an individual, or confirmation of an organized trip reservation. Travelers visiting Spain for professional purposes must provide a letter from a company or authority detailing the need to participate in meetings of a commercial, industrial, or activity-related nature. Travelers need to present documents that show there are commercial relationships or relationships linked to the activity, or access cards to fairs and conferences. Travelers visiting Spain for study or training purposes must provide an enrollment document or documentation proving admission to an educational center. Travelers visiting Spain for all other purposes must provide invitations, reservations, or certificates of participation in travel-related events, entry cards, or receipts.     Mandatory proof of financial means

    Travelers must be able to present proof of having sufficient financial means for their duration of stay in Spain. The minimum accepted amount travelers must possess is EUR 121.10 per person per day and a total minimum of EUR 1,098.90 or its legal equivalent in foreign currency. Travelers may prove financial means by presenting cash, certified checks, traveler's checks, payment letters, or credit cards accompanied by a bank account statement or an up-to-date bank book.
