Medication clearance permit (controlled substances)
Travelers arriving in Saudi Arabia who are carrying medications containing narcotic or psychotropic substances must obtain a clearance permit from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) before arrival. This includes medications such as strong painkillers, sleeping pills, stimulants, and anti-anxiety drugs. Travelers can apply through the SFDA's Controlled Drugs System (CDS).

Mandatory proof of Polio vaccination for Saudi Arabia
Travelers visiting or transiting through Saudi Arabia from selected countries must have proof of a Poliomyelitis (polio) vaccination certificate. Fully vaccinated travelers must present a vaccination certificate for an accepted oral polio vaccine administered at least 4 weeks before travel and not more than 6 months before travel or a vaccination certificate for an accepted inactivated polio vaccine issued at least 4 weeks before arrival and not more than 12 months before travel.
