Mandatory travel health insurance
Travelers must have travel health insurance when visiting Russia. Insurance should cover the entire duration of stay and include medical assistance, hospital care, medical transportation, and repatriation in case of death.

Transit visa may be required
International travelers don’t need a visa to transit through Russia if staying in the airport transit area for a maximum of 24 hours. Visit the government website to check other entry requirements.
