    Travelers require a passport valid for the duration of stay in Isle of Man

    Travelers need a valid passport to enter Isle of Man. The traveler's passport must remain valid throughout the traveler's stay in Isle of Man.

    • Travelers can use an EU, EEA, or Swiss national ID card to enter the UK if: -They have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, or Jersey, Guernsey, or the Isle of Man's settlement schemes; -They have an EU Settlement Scheme family permit, or the equivalent from Jersey, Guernsey, or the Isle of Man; -They have a frontier worker permit; -They are an S2 Healthcare Visitor; -They are an EU, EEA, or Swiss national aged 18 or under traveling as part of a French school group using a France-UK school trip travel information form. Travelers who hold British citizenship in addition to another nationality cannot apply for an ETA and must travel to the UK with a valid British passport, Irish passport, or any other valid passport containing a certificate of entitlement. Under temporary guidance, an expired British passport issued in 1989 or later, accompanied by a valid ETA-eligible passport with matching personal details, may also be accepted at carrier discretion. Travelers intending to travel on an expired British passport should confirm acceptance with their carrier before travel.

    Transit visa may be required

    International travelers don’t need a visa to transit through the Isle of Man if they stay within the airport’s international departure area. Visit the government site to check the permitted length of stay and other entry requirements.

    • The airport transit visa requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers: -Holders of a valid visa for Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and United States; -Holders of a resident visa issued by Australia or New Zealand; -Holders of a residence permit issued by a European Economic Area Member State or Switzerland; -Holders of a permanent resident card issued by Canada on or after June 28th, 2002; -Holders of a category D visa for entry into a country in the European Economic Area Member States or Switzerland; -Holders of an Irish biometric visa; -Holders of a Schengen Approved Destination Scheme group tourism visa where the holder is traveling to the Schengen Member States; -Holders of a flight ticket from the Schengen Member States, and prove that they entered the Schengen area in the previous 30 days based on a valid Schengen ADS visa; -Holders of valid USA I-551 Temporary Immigrant visa issued by United States; -Holders of a valid USA permanent residence card issued by United States on or after April 21st, 1998; -Holders of an expired USA I-551 Permanent Residence card issued by United States on or after April 21st, 1998, with a valid I-797 letter authorizing extension; -Holders of a valid standalone United States Immigration Form 155A/155B issued by United States (attached to a sealed brown envelope).
