What Bahamas may ask for
Not every traveller is asked for all of these. A valid passport is checked every time; the rest is a spot check at the border, and some items belong to a visa application rather than the crossing itself.

Bahamian residents and citizens must complete a customs declaration form before arrival in Bahamas.
- Travelers above the age of 13 must have their own accounts to make the declaration. Children under the age of 13 can be added to the account of their parent or legal guardian.

Travelers require proof of a ticket showing their entrance and exit from Bahamas.

Travelers need a valid passport to enter Bahamas. The traveler's passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after the traveler departs from Bahamas.

Quarantine required for travelers recently in DR Congo, Uganda or South Sudan
Travelers who have been in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, or South Sudan within the 21 days before arrival in Bahamas may be subject to quarantine or isolation measures following public health assessment upon arrival. Bahamian nationals who have been present in these countries within 21 days before arrival should re-enter Bahamas through Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau and may be required to undergo isolation or quarantine. Foreign nationals who have been present in these countries within 30 days before arrival may also be subject to possible quarantine or isolation measures. The measure was announced on May 26, 2026, as a precaution against Ebola Bundibugyo virus disease.
