    Travelers need a visa to transit through Albania. Travelers must obtain a paper or embassy visa from an embassy, consulate or visa center before traveling.

    • The visa requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers: -Holders of a valid multiple-entry visa previously used in one of the Schengen states or valid residence permits for one of the Schengen states; -Holders of valid multiple-entry US or UK visas previously used in the country of issuance or have a valid resident permit in the US or UK; -Holders of a 10-year resident permit for the United Arab Emirates, valid not less than one year from the moment of entry; -Nationals who can enter and stay without a visa in the Schengen area.
