Summary: Sabre, PayPal and Mindtrip will introduce an end-to-end agentic AI travel experience in Q2 2026, combining discovery, booking, payments and servicing inside a single conversational platform.

Sabre Corporation, PayPal Holdings and Mindtrip have announced a strategic collaboration to build what they describe as the travel sector’s first end-to-end agentic AI travel experience. The product, due to roll out in Q2 2026, aims to let travellers move from inspiration to transaction and post-booking management without leaving a single conversational interface.

A single conversational flow for the full travel journey

The initiative links Mindtrip’s consumer-facing agentic platform, PayPal’s payments and commerce services, and Sabre’s enterprise travel technology and agentic AI. The partners say the goal is to replace the current multi-step booking pathway with one continuous conversational experience that covers discovery, personalised recommendations, booking and itinerary servicing.

  • Describe destinations, dates, budgets and preferences in natural language
  • Receive personalised flight (initial rollout) and later hotel options
  • Refine choices through follow-up questions within the same chat
  • Complete booking, identity verification and payment without leaving the interface
  • Manage itinerary changes and post-booking servicing

We believe consumer behaviour will continue to shift towards conversational commerce, and we see our role as helping the travel industry seize this opportunity – because the full potential of agentic AI for travel can only be realised at scale when it is connected to enterprise-grade technology capable of handling real-world complexity. This partnership brings together a cutting-edge agentic consumer start-up, the world’s biggest digital payments platform, and Sabre’s leading enterprise-grade agentic AI technology to accelerate the future of travel in a way that is practical, scalable, and grounded in real use cases.

At the heart of the product sits Mindtrip’s conversational AI. Travellers will be able to explain their intent and preferences in plain language; the system then translates that input into tailored options and actions. Sabre will power real-time shopping, pricing, availability, booking and servicing, while PayPal will handle identity verification and native checkout embedded in the flow.

We started Mindtrip with one clear goal: to make the end-to-end travel journey seamless. Today, in partnership with PayPal and Sabre, we’re realising that vision. Rather than bouncing between search tools, booking sites, and payment screens, travellers will have the ability to discover, plan, book, and pay for a trip in one continuous, intuitive, trusted, conversational experience.

Payments, verification and commerce features

PayPal will serve as the preferred agentic commerce partner, embedding checkout, identity checks and payment processing directly into the booking flow. The integration will also provide access to flexible payment solutions such as PayPal’s Pay Later, encryption and applicable loyalty and buyer/seller protections.

Travel is a highly complex purchase decision for consumers, and ease, speed, and flexibility at checkout matter. This next generation of agentic AI finally connects discovery to decision-making and booking without leaving the experience. By integrating PayPal’s agentic commerce offerings directly into the experience, we’re transforming inspiration into action – giving consumers more choice, control, and confidence, while helping partners convert more of the demand they generate.

Back-end scale: Sabre Mosaic and distribution

The technical foundation will be delivered through Sabre Mosaic, Sabre APIs and its global partner network. Sabre says Mosaic aggregates content from more than 420 airlines — including about 150 low-cost carriers — and offers access to in excess of two million lodging options, enabling the agentic experience to connect conversational requests to broad, real-world inventory.

This partnership is disruptive in all the right ways, challenging industry norms while giving our partners the upside of transformation without the turbulence. By anchoring these agentic capabilities in Sabre’s proven platform and expertise, we’re delivering stability, unlocking growth, and strengthening Sabre’s position as the trusted backbone of the next generation of innovation for our customers and their customers.

Rollout, supplier access and next steps

The first phase will support flight content with hotel offerings scheduled to follow in a later release. Sabre positions the partnership as a way for its customers and supplier partners to tap consumer-facing, AI-driven demand channels without building standalone conversational interfaces, while still relying on Sabre’s data governance and systems.

  • Launch window: Q2 2026 (initial flight support)
  • Later phase: hotel content integration
  • Channel access: Sabre customers can reach new consumer-facing AI demand without separate development
  • Supplier continuity: existing systems, processes and governance remain in place

What this means for travellers and the industry: the partnership signals a move toward seamless conversational commerce in travel. For consumers, it promises simpler decision-making and faster checkout. For travel sellers and suppliers, it offers a new distribution channel that bundles inspiration, verification, payment and fulfilment — potentially increasing conversion while keeping enterprise control under established platforms.
