Scenic Group has launched Scenic & Emerald Rewards, a global loyalty programme that merges its previous schemes and introduces a unified rewards account for travellers.
Summary: Scenic Group has launched Scenic & Emerald Rewards, a free-to-join global loyalty programme that combines the former Scenic Club and EmeraldEXPLORER schemes into a single account with four tiers and a new MyRewards monetary redemption feature.
Scenic Group has introduced Scenic & Emerald Rewards, a global loyalty programme that merges its previous loyalty schemes into one unified platform. The new programme applies across Scenic and Emerald luxury yacht, river and escorted land journeys and is free to join for guests returning from their first journey.
One account across all trip types
The new Scenic & Emerald Rewards programme consolidates the former Scenic Club and EmeraldEXPLORER schemes so members can earn and redeem benefits with a single account balance. Scenic Group said the change follows feedback from guests and travel advisors and is designed to simplify reward accrual across its portfolio of luxury ocean, river and escorted land experiences.
The launch of the new integrated Scenic & Emerald Rewards global program marks a significant evolution in the recognition and benefits for our valued guests. Few travel companies can offer the unrivalled opportunity for their members to earn and receive status points, for travel across luxury ocean, river and escorted land journeys, spanning all seven continents and more than 100 countries,
Existing status points from both legacy programmes have been transferred into the new single account, giving members a streamlined way to track and use rewards. Where tiers have been merged, members have been reassigned to an equivalent or higher tier with status points adjusted as needed.
- Four-tier structure: Gold, Diamond, Emerald and Chairman’s Club
- Free to join for returning guests after their first journey
- Existing members automatically transitioned to the new programme
- MyRewards feature: earn a monetary reward equal to 1% of the eligible value of new bookings

Four tiers and enhanced privileges
Scenic & Emerald Rewards introduces Gold, Diamond, Emerald and Chairman’s Club tiers with realigned qualification thresholds and refreshed benefits. As members move up tiers they unlock additional privileges designed to recognise loyalty across longer or higher-value itineraries.
It will also provide all current and future members one unique account, which includes the new MyRewards feature, providing a real monetary value for members to redeem. The Scenic & Emerald Rewards program has been designed to ensure we continue to develop more relevant experiences for our valued members and deliver enhanced recognition, communication and benefits across the portfolio of luxury experiences.
How MyRewards works
The MyRewards addition gives members a monetary value to use toward future Scenic and Emerald bookings. Members earn 1% of the eligible value of new bookings as a redeemable balance, which can be applied to future river, ocean or escorted land journeys booked through the programme.
Member transition and eligibility
All current members of Scenic Club and EmeraldEXPLORER have been automatically migrated into Scenic & Emerald Rewards. Where tiers overlap, members were placed into the equivalent or higher tier and their points were consolidated into the single account balance.
- Access to pre-release itineraries
- Invitations to exclusive events
- Private transfers or airport hotel stays on eligible journeys
- Complimentary accommodation on longer itineraries and priority onboard services
What this means for travellers
For travellers, Scenic & Emerald Rewards simplifies loyalty management by providing one account for a wide range of luxury travel experiences. The MyRewards monetary feature gives members straightforward redemption value, while the four-tier design aims to deliver clearer progression and more meaningful benefits as guests continue to travel with Scenic and Emerald. For travel advisors and the wider industry, the unified programme should streamline bookings and reward communications across the group's ocean, river and land products.
