Scenic Group has introduced Scenic & Emerald Rewards, its new global loyalty programme that consolidates the former Scenic Club and EmeraldEXPLORER schemes into a single membership platform. The Scenic & Emerald Rewards programme applies to Scenic and Emerald luxury yacht, river and escorted land journeys and is free to join for returning guests.
Why Scenic combined the programmes
Scenic Group said the decision follows feedback from guests and travel advisors and aims to simplify the experience for members who travel across the company’s portfolio. Existing status points from both legacy schemes have been rolled into a single account balance, giving members one consolidated place to earn and redeem rewards.
Four-tier structure and qualification changes
The programme introduces a four-tier system — Gold, Diamond, Emerald and Chairman’s Club — with updated qualification thresholds and rebalanced benefits designed to recognise loyalty as members progress through the levels. Where tiers from the legacy programmes have been merged, members were reassigned to the equivalent or higher tier and had their status points adjusted.

The MyRewards addition allows members to earn 1% of the eligible value of new bookings as a cash-equivalent amount that can be redeemed against future Scenic and Emerald cruises or escorted land journeys, offering a tangible, monetary reward alongside traditional status benefits.

Rollout and member transition
All existing members of the previous programmes were automatically migrated into Scenic & Emerald Rewards. Where legacy tiers overlapped, members were placed into the equivalent or higher new tier and their status points were adjusted to reflect the move.
